My Nutrition Philosophy
I'm not a fan of meal plans.
This may be surprising since dietitians are notorious for telling people what specific foods to eat and not eat. But the truth is, the "eat this, not that" philosophy is at the heart of why most people who try to lose weight and get healthy fail. Categorizing food as "good" or "bad" and limiting people to a strict menu that assumes perfect conditions (like no traveling or eating out) simply isn't a good way to help people lose weight and keep it off.
This is why I recommend flexible dieting through Avatar Nutrition. With flexible dieting there are no off-limit foods, and you learn how to eat so that you can fit in some of the high calorie foods you crave without sacrificing your weight loss goals. And not only is flexible dieting effective for losing weight, but it's also great for gaining muscle and rehabbing metabolism.
